Bonny Riddle

Exercise Physiologist

Bonny is an accredited exercise scientist and exercise physiologist.  She also holds an Australian Strength and Conditioning (ASCA) level 1 and Crossfit trainer level1.

Bonny is a local to the north coast and grew up in Ballina. Bonny has a varied education that manage to all intertwine. 

Initially her love of horses took her to Wagga Wagga, NSW to study equine science. Where she ventured into research completing an honours research degree looking at rhabdomyolysis in endurance horses.

In 2017 Bonny retrained as a high school science teacher, during her time teaching she underwent a shoulder surgery that changed her trajectory again.

Bonny found a love for rehabilitation and the magic of exercise for all conditions and retrained as an Exercise Physiologist.

Bonny is passionate about resistance training and its benefits for women, in particular those with Osteoporosis. However, Bonny has experience working with teenage children through to those in their nineties with a range of chronic health conditions.

Broadbase Health and Performance was founded on the idea that building a broader base makes us better at tackling the variability of everyday life inside the gym and even more importantly outside of the gym.
